Jan. 28: Theater Mu Presents Lunar New Year Cabaret Fundraiser Featuring Kyle Camay, Suzie Juul, Michi Lee, Hope Nordquist and Jake Sung-Guk Sullivan, with Emcees Katie Bradley and Welsey Mouri

Theater Mu is presenting their Lunar New Year Cabaret at North Garden Theater, located at 979 W Seventh St., Saint Paul, MN 55102 on Saturday, January 28 from 7pm-9pm CT.

Start the Year of the Rabbit and the Cat the right way! While the zodiac for China and other Asian cultures designates this year as the year of the rabbit, the Vietnamese and Gurung zodiacs herald 2023 as the year of the cat. This gives Theater Mu double the opportunity to entertain you while you show off your most glamorous and debonair Lunar New Year attire!

The cabaret fundraiser will include dinner, cocktails, entertainment, and a few surprises along the way from some of your favorite Mu artists. The evening will be emceed by Katie Bradley and Welsey Mouri. Bob Kelly is the music director and performers for the evening include Kyle Camay, Suzie Juul, Michi Lee, Hope Nordquist and Jake Sung-Guk Sullivan.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and cocktail hour begins. Dinner will be served at 7pm, followed by the cabaret performances.

Tickets: We strive to voice the stories of the Asian American community, and in order to bring performances to those communities whose stories they tell, we are committed to making them as accessible as possible. PAY AS YOU ARE pricing asks those who routinely pay $60 for formal fundraiser tickets to choose to pay that amount; it is the actual fair market value of the ticket. If an audience member needs to pay less, they can choose to pay less—as little as $30 per ticket.

All tickets must be purchased in advance; there will be no tickets for purchase at the door. Click here to purchase tickets.
