
On the 24th day of Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, I will celebrate Chinese American actor Eddy Lee as he takes center stage as Alexander Hamilton in the Broadway company of Hamilton at the Richard Rodgers Theatre tonight.
Eddy Lee is a native of East Lansing, Michigan. He studied Kinesiology for his undergrad before pivoting to pursue his dreams of performing. It’s never too late to learn and chase what you’re passionate about. Lee made his Broadway debut in 2017 as an Ensemble Swing in Hamilton, and became an emergency cover for Hamilton after two years of being with the company. His turn as Alexander Hamilton tonight will mark his 6th time portraying the role
This Fall, Lee joins the Broadway company of KPOP. He can be seen in Netflix’s “Tick, Tick… Boom!”, and ABC’s “Big Sky”. Animation VO credits includeYu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS (Soulburner), Yu-Gi-Oh!
