On December 13 at 5pm PST/8pm EST, Summit Medical Group Foundation (SMGF) is hosting THE SHOW WILL GO ON!, a free online benefit concert featuring Eva Noblezada (Hadestown, Miss Saigon), Reeve Carney (Hadestown, Spider-Man & Penny Dreadful), Kelli Barrett (Wicked, Doctor Zhivago & Gettin’ The Band Back Together), Shoshana Bean (Waitress, Wicked & Hairspray), Norbert Leo Butz (Two-Time Tony Award Winner, My Fair Lady, & Netflix Series “Bloodline”),  Bob Egan (Bob Egan Entertainment), Lena Hall (Tony Award Winner, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Kinky Boots & TNT Series “Snowpiercer”), Adam Kaplan (A Bronx Tale, Kinky Boots & Newsies), Tamika Lawrence (Caroline, or Change, Come From Away & Beautiful), Kirstin Maldonado (Grammy Award Winner, Member of a capella Group Pentatonix & Kinky Boots), Fred Odgaard (Moulin Rouge!, Kinky Boots & Finding Neverland), Karen Olivo (Tony Award Winner, Moulin Rouge!, West Side Story & In the Heights), Jarrod Spector (The Cher Show, Beautiful & Jersey Boys), Joey Taranto (Kinky Boots, Spider-Man & Rock of Ages), Alysha Umphress (Smokey Joe’s Café, On the Town) and Sarah Walsh (School of Rock and Daughter of SMG’s Dr. Lisa Coohill). While Covid-19 has stopped many things, COVID-19 HAS NOT STOPPED CANCER. Patients and their families need support now more than ever.  All funds raised during the event will support SMGF’s personalized, one-on-one patient navigation program, connecting patients with needed community resources at a time when it is easy to feel isolated; make virtual mind-body programs available for patients and caregivers alike, including yoga, mindful meditation, Jin Shin Jyutsu, Music in the Atrium live on Facebook, and more; and help patients and their families in financial crisis due to cancer through their Patient-in-Need Fund. Lia Chang

Lia Chang is an actor, a multi-media content producer and co-founder of Bev’s Girl Films, making films that foster inclusion and diversity on both sides of the camera. Bev’s Girl Films’ debut short film, Hide and Seek was a top ten film in the Asian American Film Lab’s 2015 72 Hour Shootout Filmmaking Competition, and she received a Best Actress nomination. BGF collaborates with and produces multi-media content for artists, actors, designers, theatrical productions, composers, musicians and corporations. Lia has appeared in the films Wolf, New Jack City, A Kiss Before Dying, King of New York, Big Trouble in Little China, The Last Dragon, Taxman. She stars in and served as Executive Producer for the short independent films Hide and Seek, Balancing Act, Rom-Com Gone Wrong, Belongingness andWhen the World was Young. She is also the Executive Producer for The CactusThe Language LessonThe Writer and Cream and 2 Shugahs.
